Partner API Change Policy
GlobalConnect may modify any API represented in the GlobalConnect Developer Portal and our policies related to access and use of the API and GlobalConnect Developer Portal from time to time without advance notice. GlobalConnect will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of any modifications to the API or policies through notifications or posts on the GlobalConnect Developer Portal. GlobalConnect will not be liable to you or any third party for such modifications or any adverse effects resulting from such modifications.
As part of our change policy, we've also outlined a timeline for how we introduce changes and how they will be introduced.
- The policy dictates that we will announce any breaking changes of an API interface as a new major version and we will keep the replaced version available for not less than 6 months to allow a graceful migration period after any breaking changes are introduced.
- The policy further dictates that we may or may not announce minor changes that does not introduce any breaking changes. They will however always be declared in the API documentation.
- We'll also provide 2 weeks notice for urgent security and performance changes.
